I am looking for HDMI Switch. Can Hi-DenVision products help me?

Yes. Hi-DenVision HD-0310 HDMI 1080p Digital Photo Viewer has an extra HDMI connector allows you to connect one more HDMI enabled device to it (as the below diagram) and you can easily switch the content between two devices by the remote control provided .

 

 

How to connect HD-0310/ HD-0311 with HDTV or TV equipped with HDMI port

  • Connect DC Power in of HD-0310/ HD-0311 to AC power adaptor which is included in this package
  • Plug HDMI cable to HDMI Out port of HD-0310/ HD-0311 and connect another end of HDMI cable to the HDMI port of HDTV or TV.
  • Finally, plug the AC power adaptor to AC power source
  • You can enjoy HD-0310/ HD-0311 now.

There is composite video cable for every package of HD-0310. How can I connect it with HD-0310 and TV?

Composite Video Cable can be used either following case:

  • For TV not equipped with HDMI input
  • For users who don’t have HDMI cable

Connection Instruction

  • Please connect DC Power in to AC power adaptor which is included in the package of HD-0310 and connect AC power adaptor to AC power supply.
  • Please plug in the composite video cable to  the port  CVBS, Audio-R and Audio-L  of HD-0310 and follow the color of the cable as shown below.

  • Find the port of the video, audio port of  TV which allows composite video cable connection

  • Please plug in the cable matching the color for each port.

  • Please select matching TV input source with your TV remote control. In our example, the composite cable has been connected to input 1.

  • After TV input source selection, you will get following screen once you plug in memory cards or USB flash drive or portable drive

Now you can enjoy HD-0310.

How to make a loop and show the photos continuously?

  • When you plug in flash drive or memory cards, it shows below screen and select Photos

  • Choose the folder

  • Photos can be previewed like this

  • HD JPEG allows higher quality of photos decoding. But if we need to loop photos, we need to turn off HD JPEG.. Please press SETUP from the remote to enter SET UP mode and choose HD JPEG> Off

  • Please also choose View> View Repeat
  • If you wish to loop single photos continuously, please choose “Single”.
  • If you wish to loop photos within one folder, please choose “Folder”
  • If you wish to loop all photos within your storage media, please choose “All”
  • If you don’t want to loop any photos, please choose “Off”

  • Then, please press SETUP again to exist SETUP mode. This photo preview screen will appear again and Press OK to continue

The photos will start looping

How to turn on or turn off HD JPEG Mode?

  • Please press SETUP from the remote to enter SET UP mode and choose View >> HD Jpeg mode
  • Please choose On if HD Jpeg decoding mode is required. Please choose Off if HD Jepg decoding mode is not required.
  • Please press SETUP from the remote to exist SET UP mode

 

**Note**

  1. We default both HD-0310 and HD-0311 as HD Jpeg mode “on”. This will bring the best visual quality for each photos.
  2. Whenever HD-0310 and HD-0311 got re-setted, switched on, existed Photo/ Slide Mode, HD Jepg mode “on” will be returned as default.
  3. However HD Jepg does not support following features:

(I)                 Photo upscale (refer How to do photo upscaling)

(II)              Choose transition effect by pressing Transition button from the remote . (However, transition effect can be set in SETUP screen of the products.)

(III)            Photo preview in 9 pcs per screen by pressing  from the remote

(IV)           Zoom in  & out  the photos  from the remote

(V)              Photos Rotation         from the remote

Should you wish to set HD Jpeg mode “off”, you need to enter photo mode first. Press  >>  >> , then choose View >> HD Jpeg mode >> off and press  again and start to enjoy Photo and Slide

How to select the transition effect between photos?

Method 1 (For Both HD and Non HD JPEG decoding)

  • Please press SETUP from the remote to enter SET UP mode and choose View >> Transition
  • Please choose the transition effect required.
  • Finally, please press SETUP again to exist SETUP mode

Method 2(For Non-HD JPEG decoding only)

  • Whenever the device has been re-setted, switched on or exist Photo and Slide mode, HD-JPEG decoding mode will be returned to default setting. 
  • When you plug in flash drive or memory cards, it shows below screen and select Photos or Slide

 

  • Choose the folder

 

  • Photos can be previewed like this

  • If you have already choose the transition before, please press OK   to start to display photos. Default HD JPEG allows higher quality of photos decoding. But if transition effect want to re-select by the remote control, we need to turn off HD JPEG..
  • In either entering Photo or Slide Mode, please press SETUP from the remote to enter SET UP mode and choose HD JPEG> Off, and then press SETUP again.

  • This photo preview screen will appear again and Press OK   to continue

  • When the photos are being displayed, please press Transition  once by once to select and stop at the transition mode required.

How to display or not display photos randomly?

  • Please press SETUP from the remote to enter SET UP mode and choose View >> Slide Shuffle
  • If you want to display photos randomly, please choose On, otherwise, please choose Off
  • Finally, please press SETUP again to exist SETUP mode

How to adjust the time interval between each slides?

How can I view digital photos in large HDTV without knowing any networking or computer knowleage?
